Shipping & Returns Information

Courier Shipping

Most of our tool sets and some small toolboxes are shipped with our preferred Canadian carrier, UPS Canada. We worked closely with UPS to ensure that our customers are getting the best courier services and rates available:

  • UPS Next Day Air Saver
  • UPS Express (1 Business Day)
  • UPS Expedited (2 Business Days)
  • UPS Standard

Customers may also choose Fedex Canada:

  • FedEx Priority Overnight
  • FedEx Standard Overnight
  • FedEx Express Saver
  • FedEx 2 Day

Orders received prior to 3pm Pacific Time on business days are fulfilled on the same day. Otherwise, we will fulfill the order the next business day.

Shipping is prepaid and title/risk is transferred upon handoff to courier.

Freight Shipping

Most of our tool storage products are shipped by LTL freight providers. LTL/FREIGHT IS BILLED SEPARATELY AND NOT QUOTED AT CHECKOUT!

For orders including LTL shipments:

  1. Seattle Tool will setup shipping with our preferred freight providers.
  2. The customer will receive a freight quote and estimated delivery dates via email with options for payment.
  3. Upon confirmation of payment, Seattle Tool will ship the order within 1-2 business days.
  4. The customer will have the option to cancel the order if the freight quote is unacceptable.

Terms for freight shipments are FOB Origin.

60-Day Online Purchase Return Policy

Seattle Tool Canada offers a no-hassle 60 day return on all products purchased through online shopping on this website. Please note that this policy does not apply to all products purchased through other distribution channels such as The Home Depot Canada online store and retail outlets. Products can be returned for a full refund under the following conditions:

  • Product must be received with original proof of purchase (or facsimile)
  • Product must be received with all included parts and manuals
  • Customer pays for shipping the product to Seattle Tool (with the exception of defective parts from the manufacturer, in which case shipping will be covered by Seattle Tool Canada)
  • Customer will receive credit for the original order amount to his/her credit card or PayPal Account
  • Contact Customer Service at contact@seattletool.com or 1-888-858-TOOL(8665) for detailed instructions on the return process

Warranty Returns (for purchases made from our Online Store)

During the applicable duration of the warranty, Seattle Tool Canada will, at its option, repair or replace the product which, after examination, is confirmed by Seattle Tool Canada to be defective in materials or workmanship, or provide a full refund of the purchase price if the Product is still defective after three attempts to repair or replace. To ensure our safe receipt of the returned product and the information needed to warrant the returned product, please take the following measures:

  • Put a list of the returned product(s) inside the box
  • Put your name, address (physical address, NOT PO BOX) and phone number on the box
  • Keep a copy of our tracking number and the list of the returned product(s)
  • Seattle Tool Canada encourages you to insure the package for the replacement value of the returned product(s)

Products Shipped in Error or Defective from Seattle Tool Canada

For product shipped to the customer in error or defective from purchase made on our web site, Seattle Tool Canada will ship the correct product upon receipt of the customer’s written notification. Seattle Tool Canada will pay the shipping cost.
